Attila Mong (’13) — Re-engineering journalism
Although efforts to use laws to suppress independent journalism are increasing, there is no easy, free, way for journalists and free-press advocates to monitor media laws around the world and fight back. At least not yet. Hungarian journalist Attila Mong is determined to change that. In this short talk, he makes the case for Global Media Rights Watch, a unique collaborative legal database to address growing threats to press freedoms around the world.
