Carol Fernandez is office and events coordinator for the JSK Journalism Fellowships. She creates memorable events for the program by handling all the logistics. She also supports JSK’s day-to-day office operations.
Her work touches every gathering, from orientation to weekly fellowship events, to the alumni reunion. She thrives on developing efficient systems to make these events run seamlessly.
Carol joined Stanford in 2008, working first in the School of Medicine where she coordinated the prep work necessary for submitting papers to medical journals and grant applications. Prior to Stanford, she worked at Boston Children’s Hospital and Northeastern University’s School of Law.
She earned her bachelor’s degree in general studies from Southern New Hampshire University.
