Asraa Mustufa

Asraa Mustufa is managing editor at The Examination, an award-winning nonprofit news organization, launched in 2023, that investigates global health threats. She was previously an editor at the International Consortium of Investigative Journalists, where she worked on the award-winning Pandora Papers investigation and other global reporting collaborations. She’s also served as an editor, digital producer and social media specialist helping shape and promote investigative reporting and news products in Chicago on a range of topics including COVID-19 data, police misconduct, local elections, public school funding and more.
