Carol Fernandez

Carol Fernandez is office and events coordinator for the JSK Journalism Fellowships. She handles the logistics of the program's many events and also supports JSK’s day-to-day office operations.

Carol's work touches every gathering, from weekly fellows' events to the JSK alumni reunion. She focuses on developing efficient systems to make the program's office operations and events run seamlessly. 

Carol joined Stanford in 2008, working first in the School of Medicine where she coordinated the preparations necessary for submitting papers to medical journals and grant applications. Prior to Stanford, she worked at Boston Children’s Hospital and Northeastern University’s School of Law.

She earned her bachelor’s degree in general studies from Southern New Hampshire University.
